Lessons from the Wild!
In the animal kingdom, lions have always been associated with leadership, probably because of their devastatingly effective appreciation of "Survival of the Fittest".
Once again MOVERS & SHAKERS bring these splendid predators right into the classroom in order to share their wisdom with your team with our events.
Our unique keynote presentation "Lessons from the Wild" compares the way that both Lions and Cheetahs operate in the wild. We walk the actual animals right into the conference room in this animal entertaiment activity. Imagine the impact on your team when confronted with full-grown and impressive Cheetah!
Don't worry though, for the less courageous, lion or cheetah cubs can bring about the point sufficiently. Cute and cuddly to the eye, but don't forget the dangerous killers that they will grow up to become.
- Essentially Lions are the only cats that work as a team, inherently felines are loners, but lions subscribe to the concepts of:
- Fit into the Pride
- Pull your weight
- Be loyal
- Be committed
Cheetahs on the other hand have an entirely different approach. They don't want a team! Numbers threaten their existence.
Their leadership approach is thus more along the lines of "What do you want to learn? I'll teach you. Go out and be better than me". This is the philosophy of a secure leader who is likely to leave a legacy behind him.
Concepts Covered in "Lessons from the Wild"
Various other options are available with these entertaining wildlife events:
- Entertaining wildlife events with Young cubs:
These lion or cheetah cubs can be held and a photo opportunity is possible.
- Educational wildlife activities with Young adults:
With both lions and cheetahs are about 6 months old and are hip height. Access to these animals by delegates would have to be monitored or restricted depending on which animals are used. Subject to availability.
- Entertaining wildlife events with Fully grown:
Our Cheetahs are probably the tamest in the world and are Ambassadors for their species. They have never displayed any form of aggression towards humans. They are easily transported around the country and even around the world. For lions, This depends on the location of the venue and the circumstances of the conference. A lot more difficult in constructing holding pens, but not impossible. We even have an option where your group can take a lengthy walk with an entire pride of lions at our holding facility.
Movers & Shakers conduct educational wildlife activities in Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal, Western Cape, Mpumalanga and the Free State and also in more remote regions of South Africa.
If you need assistance with selecting which hotel or conference center to book, Movers & Shakers offers a complimentary venue booking and liaison service to their clients.
